DOWN-TO-EARTH COSMOPOLITANISM

You have to know where you come from to be able to break new ground. The name Carano commemorates the native origin of the Di Pauli family in the Fleimstal. The autochthonous and sometimes quite rustic variety Lagrein presents itself in this wine with cosmopolitan character and fashionable elegance.

VINIFICATION

Three weeks of mash fermentation in the wooden barrel, spontaneous acid degradation, 14 months of maturation in the barrel.

LOCATION / SOIL

Arzenhof, pulpit at 300 to 400m above sea level. To the southeast inclined moraine dest cone with lime gravel, porphyry and quartz sand (mineral) and sufficient clay (body); Mediterranean microclimate.
