Brunello di Montalcino
Our Brunello di Montalcino is born from a very accurate manual selection of grapes, it ferments in vitrified cement vats for about 25/30 days. Subsequently, it is aged for at least 2 and a half years in oak barrels of about 30 Hl, after which it spends another 12 months in concrete barrels and then it is bottled where it remains for at least 4/5 months before being put on the market.
The 2021 Brunello di Montalcino is remarkably pretty, wafting up with nuances of rose and violet that complement wild strawberries and crushed cherries. It is lifted and pure, offering a lovely mix of fresh red berry fruits and saline mineral tones under an air of inner florals. The finish is of medium length with subtle lavender tones, just lightly tannic. The 2021 will gain further body and depth through maturity.
